This aims to alleviate suffering and distress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic through care, support, prevention and detection. However, for now it seems that the Solidarity Fund is not looking to provide relief or financial support to businesses or informal traders but is rather focusing on health (ventilators and test kits etc.), humanitarian efforts and the Solidarity Campaign to flatten the curve.
